Women’s Empowerment Group

Women’s Empowerment Group

 

A group focused on empowering women utilizing a strengths-based approach. Intention is to learn skills and perform activities that build self-esteem and reduce negative symptomology. This group is for women with depressive/anxious symptomologies who could utilize extra support and help establishing a strong sense of self and self-actualization. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated mental health evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

Peer To Peer Group

Peer To Peer Group

 

The purpose of this group is to engage persons in community-based activities and interactions between people who share similar experiences of being diagnosed with mental health conditions/substance use disorders while actively working towards long-term substance recovery and mental health stability. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated mental health/chemical dependency evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

This is a group focused on promoting healing from substance use disorders (SUD) and securing long-term sobriety. We focus on building stable sobriety through various interventions and activities while working amongst a group of peers. Each group provides a psychoeducational

component plus the opportunity to share successes, or shortcomings, experienced while working to secure long-term sobriety in an impartial space. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated chemical dependency evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) 

 

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) is a group that helps address criminal thinking patterns and behaviors and aims to reduce recidivism. Clients will work through 12 steps of moral reasoning throughout the course as they improve their thinking and decision-making skills. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated chemical dependency evaluation and appropriate diagnosis. MRT Books are an extra cost- $40.50

Trust Group

Trust Group

 

The purpose of TRUST group is to reduce the use of, or abstain from entirely, stimulant specific substances (cocaine, methamphetamines, amphetamines) through use of support group and activities that teach participants skills to maintain long-term recovery. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated chemical dependency evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

Mind and Body Group provides a nurturing space where the power of the mind meets the wisdom of the body. This group is dedicated to exploring and enhancing the intricate relationship between mental and physical well-being. Participants will need to be a registered client with an

updated mental health evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

Neurodivergent Psychoeducation/Support Group

Neurodivergent Psychoeducation/Support Group


Clients participating in this group can expect a group that covers executive functioning skills, neuroscience, common sensory processing differences and support, treatment options/barriers and more. Participants will need to be a registered client with an updated mental health evaluation and appropriate diagnosis.

Anger Management

Anger Management

 

The purpose of Anger Management group is to learn skills to manage anger effectively, stop violence or threats of violence, develop self-control over thoughts and actions and receive support from others. No assessment or diagnosis is needed to attend Anger Management. Additionally, you do not need to be a registered client to attend. Cost to attend the 40 hr. Anger Management program is $250.

Prime For Life (Assessment Course Treatment (ACT) Program) Adults & Minors

Prime For Life (Assessment Course Treatment (ACT) Program) Adults & Minors

 

Attending the Prime for Life (PFL) course is a court mandated requirement following a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) offense or Minor in Possession (MIP) charge. Adults are required to attend 2 days (12 hours) and minors are required to attend 1 day (6 hours) of this psychoeducational program. The PFL program covers a variety of topics related to high-risk behaviors and choices with substance use and promotes low-risk choices to avoid long-term health and impairment problems in the future. We offer these courses both in-person and virtually (Zoom) monthly. Additionally, you do not need to be a registered client to attend. Cost for adults $300 (ACT Assessment - $150, course - $150). Cost for minors (1st offense MIP) is $100.

Circle Of Security (COS)

Circle Of Security (COS)

 

The Circle of Security (CoS) program offers a parent/child psychotherapy class designed to assist parents to provide their children with the emotional support needed to develop secure attachment and resilience. The program is designed to help any caregiver understand a child’s attachment needs and learn to meet those attachment needs even when the caregiver is experiencing their own distress/dysregulation. Cost of the class is $50 per individual or $75 per

couple. Sliding scale options are available upon request. You are not required to be a registered client to attend.

School-Based Mental Health Services

School-based mental health is a shared commitment between schools, healthcare organizations and the community designed to support student health, well-being and academic success by providing preventative services, early intervention, and treatment within the school environment.

 Goals of School-Based Services

  • Accessibility to services within the community
  • Assisting and supporting students with developing positive coping strategies
  • Promoting positive peer and family interactions
  • Developing prosocial and adaptive strategies for success in the school setting and daily life
  • Helping children and youth get help early by identifying the warning signs of an emerging mental health condition and providing treatment and support
